They will be participating in the first ever Hair Aid Global Cut-A-Thon, raising money to support the work Hair Aid does.
They will be providing $15 haircuts and contributing 100% of the proceeds raised to help Hair Aid with this vital work. There will be coffee in the morning, raffle prizes, and a gift bag for the first 50 guests!

Hair Aid sends volunteer hairdressers to teach people living in the slum how to cut hair. Their teams work right in the slums, alongside the people living on the street, or with ladies rescued from the sex trade and prostitution gang. Every person that completes the training, which teaches five basic haircuts, is gifted a basic scissor kit which means they can immediately begin cutting hair and earning money, and supporting themselves away from prostitution and other dangerous situations.
Each kit costs $50, so every haircut we do on the day, changes the life of one person, and their family? said Selina Tomasich, CEO and Founder of Hair Aid. This means that with these basic tools that and the skill of hair cutting, trainees can start a micro business and create an income to support themselves and their family. Its immediately life changing!
