Gardeners’ Gathering Event Sunday May 6, 2018 at the Quality Inn & Conference Centre 924 King St. in Midland from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets $30.00 available from Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre 705-534-4459 15979 Highway 12 East in Port McNicoll. Event is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the OSPCA in Midland to help abandoned and abused animals in their care.
The event is comprised of an excellent buffet brunch, silent auction, fun games, tulip raffle, door prizes and an engaging guest speaker. This year’s speaker is Leanne George owner of Fresh by Leanne who will be discussing creating your own floral wreaths and planters as well as other ways to use home-grown flowers. This would be a fun event to do with your Mom as an early Mother’s Day present.
