“The virus doesn’t move, people move it. We stop moving, the virus stops moving, the virus

dies. It’s that simple.

Good morning!

I love this quote and it couldn’t be more timely. Our own Prime Minister was

forced to share harsh words yesterday about people not taking physical

distancing seriously. He is 100% right… “Enough IS enough”. I don’t care if you

don’t take your own health seriously but I won’t stand by quietly while you risk

the health and wellbeing of me, my loved ones, or the front line workers dealing

with the consequences of your actions. You know who you are. Stop it…just stop

it.

Every day feels different. Like everyone, I’m struggling to find a rhythm with me

days. Each one is vastly different from the last. I think I’ve landed on a fairly

workable schedule and then it gets tossed minutes later. I’ve now settled into the

fact that every day will be an adventure and I had better just buckle in for the ride.

I wanted to give you a little behind the scenes look at how we’re navigating the

logistics of our work days with our company restrictions in place. Yes, Matt and I

are still going to work but we are physically in different studios. We can still see

each other so other than having a pane of glass between us, it still feels pretty

normal when we’re on the air. I always had a feeling I would be visiting My Boo

with a pane of glass between us but I thought it would be for another reason:)

As you can imagine, this physical distance thing has been pretty tough on my

normally very affectionate co-host. In fact, I’m pretty sure I saw him in an

embrace with the water cooler the other day…

As more and more of our broadcasting colleagues move to broadcasting from

home, I can tell you that it will only be a matter of time until that’s the case for us.

In fact, we’ve just been told that that may happen this week…next week at the

latest.

I was surprised at how emotional I got hearing THE NEWS. I knew it was coming

but it still knocked me back on my heels. Those of you that listen to our show know

that my friendship with my Boo is genuine. We love hanging out together and being

able to see him every day has really made things easier. Everything has changed but

that remained the same. Knowing it will be awhile before we are physically in the

same room again hit me harder than I thought it would  It was either that or because

of all of the cleaning I’m going to have to do to make my home presentable:)

I just told Babe the news and he handled the idea of me doing a live show in our

living room with his usual aplomb. In fact, he is setting up a broadcast area as we

speak.

Now to the really hard part, explaining to my chatty, demanding fur babies that

mommy will need peace and quiet while she works…. I have a feeling our morning

show will be expanding to include a few furry guest co-hosts over the coming

weeks:)

Have a great day. See you here tomorrow:)
