Spring Wildflower Walk

The Simcoe/Muskoka volunteers cordially invite you to a guided spring wildflower hike at the Gables (a 40 acre park in Barrie). Come see the “greatest show on earth”: beautiful spring flowers in bloom! On our walk, you’ll see Trout Lilies, Jack-the-Pulpit, Blue Cohosh, May Apple, Hepatica, Downy Yellow Violet, Merrybells, Wild Ginger, Dutchman’s Breeches, and carpets of Trilliums andCanada Anemone.

 

Included with admission:

– A 1.5 hour guide wildflower walk

– The opportunity to learn more about the natural world

– The chance to de-stress in the forest

– A rest stop alongside beautiful Lake Simcoe

– The chance to support an amazing cause!

 

Meet in the parking lot of the Gables (there’s plenty of free parking) at 6:30 sharp.

 

This event will take place, rain or shine.

Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. All funds raised will go directly to support services for those affected by Huntington disease and towards research for a treatment for Huntington disease.
