Barrie Regional Labour-Management Mental Health Seminar

The Barrie Regional Labour-Management H&S Committee is partnering with the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association and hosting our 3rd Mental Health Event. Pre-register now to save your spot for this exciting half-day of learning and networking with industry experts and peers.

We recognize mental health evolves and the topics brought to these events needs to be impactful and actionable, based on real life initiatives. Your ticket gets you access to experts that can help you:

  • identify and explain neurodivergence, an often overlooked root cause of worker mental stress in the workplace,
  • provide legal counsel to give best practice frameworks on duty to inquire and accommodate
  • a live Q&A panel with our industry leaders (employers, unions, MLITSD and Safety Association) on proven practices, and
  • a tradeshow showcasing the supportive organizations and services in Simcoe County that are available to our community.
  • Raffle prize draws will be held during the morning sessions, donated by our generous sponsors!

Our event goal is to assist workplaces on how to create sustainable programs that boost mental health in the workplace through the sharing of the industry best practices, new perspectives on mental health root causes, so that all workplace parties have confidence on supporting their peers.

Doors open at 8:00 am, event sessions start promptly at 8:30 am, lunch and the tradeshow starts at 12:00 pm. The event ends 12:45 pm.

Tickets are $20+HST and all proceeds are being donated to Threads of Life, The Busby Centre and the Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie.

We look forward to your attendance. Register now and please share with your peers!
