Get ready for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun at Family Fright Fest! Returning for its sixth year, this free, family-friendly celebration transforms Lampman Lane Park and Community Centre in Barrie into a Halloween wonderland on October 24 from 3–9 p.m. Enjoy a haunted house, busker performances, inflatables, crafts, a costume contest, a vendor market, tasty treats and spooky stories around the fire.
There’s something for every age, with the frights getting bigger as the evening goes on! From 3–4 p.m., enjoy a sensory-friendly hour with a quieter atmosphere, lights on and no scary costumes or animated features. From 4–5 p.m., little trick-or-treaters can enjoy friendly frights with Halloween sounds, lights and a costumed performer. Then, from 5–9 p.m., experience the full Fright Fest with spookier performers, dimmed lighting, flashing lights, fog effects and louder sound effects.
While this event is suitable for all ages, parents and guardians are encouraged to use their discretion when deciding whether the experience is right for their children.
