Culture Days – Open Air Dunlop

The Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA) and the City of Barrie are collaborating to bring Open Air Dunlop and Culture Days to life in Downtown Barrie!

Beginning September 26th for four Saturdays, Dunlop Street East between Mulcaster Street and Clapperton Street will be closed from morning until midnight to vehicle traffic. The public is welcome to bike or walk along the street to check out the downtown’s newly constructed streetscape, visit a local patio or shop, and discover local artists and their works.

Open Air Dunlop is part of the economic recovery plan for our downtown community and will see the patio season extended until October 19th.
Downtown businesses are ready to show off the Dunlop Streetscape Construction Project work and welcome residents and visitors as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. Open Air Dunlop invites you to come downtown and experience local businesses as well as Barrie’s arts and culture community, while creating memorable experiences.

While downtown supporting our amazing local businesses, make sure to also take advantage of the October Tasting Trail, self guided walking tours and enter into the We Dig Downtown contest. Stay up-to-date on all that’s happening by visiting downtownbarrie.ca and following us on social media @downtownbarrie.
See you downtown!
