A bottle drive has been organized to purchase presents for underprivileged children this Christmas. It was started about 2 weeks ago, and the response from the community has been overwhelming! It has been posted on the Barrie Families Unite Facebook page, and many people and businesses have come forward.
The drive is currently at $700 of the $1000 goal, the confidence is that this will surpass that, and will continue for the month of November.
If people have empties they would like to donate, they can send an email to FromEmptyToPlenty@gmail.com and a time will be arranged to pick up.
This bottle drive is working with Christmas Cheer and The Salvation Army – and ALL proceeds will go to purchase presents.
