On Saturday October 21, there will be a Love Yourself First Sessions are to provide education and support for Métis women, at Georgian College in Barrie.
These sessions provide an opportunity for Métis women to come together and hear information from doctors, cancer specialists, mammogram technologists and others on the healthcare team
The agenda for these sessions is a question and answer period, followed by a light meal, as well as a swag bag and prizes.
If transportation is a barrier to attendance we will provide transportation to the event and/or screening.
If the attendees choose to get screened, an appointment can be booked within a couple of weeks and we will also be there to support them on screening day.
