Rescue 7 Inc. is please to announce their 8th Annual Winter Carnival. This amazing event raises funds to donate much needed AEDs to communities, organizations and families in need of these life saving devices. The event is on January 26th from 8:30am to 10pm at The Heights Ski Club in Horseshoe Valley, 15 minutes from Barrie, ON. Admission is $30 pp advance (www.rescue7.net) and $45 pp at the door and includes skiing, pancake breakfast, horse drawn sleigh rides, silent and live auction, tastings, a caricature artist as well as a 50/50 draw and a puck drop contest. Big Night Out Band will play live from 7-10pm.
All proceeds from the event will go to the DMMF (Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund – OPP Officer killed in the line of duty) and Rescue 7’s Forward Hearts Program. Ultimate Leaf Fan, Mike Wilson, will be selling his latest book, Ultimate True Tales from Beer League Hockey ($20/book) and all proceeds will go to purchasing AEDs for hockey rinks in need.
