The countdown is on for the Georgian Triangle Humane Society’s 13th Annual Walk for Pets, proudly sponsored by Owen & Associates.
On Saturday, June 14, runners, walkers, and dogs of all ages and abilities will gather at the scenic Harbourview Park in Collingwood to join together and make a difference for animals. Every step brings life-changing hope to pets in need in South Georgian Bay!
Runners, walkers, and dogs of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the day’s events:
– 5K Fun Run: This 5K fun run is open to adults, youth and leash-friendly dogs. (Run start time: 10 a.m.)
– 2.5K Fun Walk/Wheel: Join this kid and dog-friendly walk that takes place on an entirely accessible trail. (Walk start time: 10:15 a.m.)
– Vendor Market and Kid Zone: Don’t miss this area dedicated to local pet and food vendors. You’ll also find GTHS swag, and special activities for kids.
– Entertainment, Eats and Beer Garden: In addition to a great afternoon of mainstage entertainment, the event includes a licensed onsite beer garden sponsored by Side Launch Brewing Company.
Participant registration begins at 9 a.m.
